Get to know: Shelby Fisher
Sheby is celebrating SIX years at Glance this year. We love having this honest and thoughtful woman be a part of our team! Today we celebrate Shelby and her journey in the beauty industry to get her to where she is today; and maybe we will just learn a new thing or two about this organized and determined Glance Team member!

Shelby, you wanted to be a firefighter growing up; how did you get into the beauty industry?!
“I wanted to be a international flight attendant. I had a scholarship for college that I had to use. Just to please my parents I decided to do hair to have a “backup” plan. I realized it was a hidden talent. And I was really good at it. Plus I found that all hairdresser were just like me. For once I felt like these were my people. 11 years later I love it.”

Shelby provides hair, nails, makeup, eyelashes extensions and body waxing services. She is super passionate about total transformations and loves giving guests a brand new cut and color that enhances their look! She has had the opportunity to attend multiple continuing education classes while working at Glance and her favorite class was a Master Colorist Class in Ontario! How cool!
Shelby loves the no competition atmosphere at Glance and working with such a great TEAM of women. The opportunities for paid vacation, 401k, education, paid styling tools and yoga classes are something she loves about our company and she would love to continue her future in the industry by teaching classes on stage or at the hair school!

2) She was on a girls slow pitch softball team that took first place in ND. They road tripped down to Mississippi to play nationals and brought back 7th place in USA nationals!
3) The top things on her bucket list right now is to buy a hot tub and go on a tropical vacation!

5) She loves all the networking opportunities that our career brings - its always exciting to see who is going to sit in the chair next!
