Glance is committed to its mission, and we strive to live out our values every day. This year we decided to spend some intentional time focusing on our value words, one at a time. Digging in deep to what they mean to us, how they show up in our company, and how we live them out every day.
The second focus word was GROWTH! Check out how we played GROW at the highest level these last two months!
We started the month by diving in and sharing our professional and personal goals with each other. We love to build each other up and encourage each other to live out our best lives. We grow by setting goals for ourselves + sharing them with others.
Education is so monumental to everything that we do at Glance. We grow from each other, industry educators and ourselves every day.
We continued to pour so much love and knowledge into our newest team members that are going through our internal training program. We grow by growing others!

We volunteered at Ministry on the Margins, spoke at a local job fair, and volunteered our time with Panseys Peeps to raise money for brave the shave and childhood cancer.
We GROW by giving back to the community.
Glance hosted Sally Rogerson where we did a deep dive into our cutting education and really refined our skills to take them to the next level. We grow by learning from others and mastering our craft.
As a team we learned a new game together - PICKLEBALL! We had so much fun taking a lesson together and having some friendly competition on the court with each other! We grow by trying new things!
Its important to the Glance team to spread our love to others and grow healthy relationships. For national hairstylist day this year we decided to deliver plants to other local hair salons to encourage them to keep being the best they can be and let them know that they are doing a great job! We grow by fostering healthy relationships and bringing this industry closer together.
Heather was invited to shadow at Chik-Fil-A to see their company culture thrive firsthand. We grow by being welcomed into businesses and learning all about what makes them great!
Our social media team hosted a styling and picture taking class to take our content to the next level! We grow by sharing who we are with the world!
We never have a dull day at Glance. We have a team dedicated to instilling FUN into our everyday. On national NORTH DAKOTA day we ventured to our state capital to have our daily huddle to shake things up and keep people engaged! We grow by having fun!
We sure love our local hair school and we value our time we get to spend there! This last month Robyn went to demo our new tape in row extensions and share her knowledge and passion for extensions with the students! We grow by sharing our passions with the next generation of this industry!
The Glance Team grew by welcoming Nicoles baby girl, Eden, to the Glance family!
Jenna, Brittany, and Kailtin hosted an Easter Brunch for the team! The Easter Bunny even made a debut! We so look forward to these lunches with each other to see the creativity that the group brings to the table and to spend the time enjoying each other’s company! We grow by cultivating a culture of appreciation for each other, celebrating every day, and having fun!
We celebrated national Oreo Cookie day! We grow by doing the little things to spark joy!
We continued to show up as our authentic selves, be leaders, give back, and give our 100% to all of guests that sit in our chairs. We grow by working hard everyday!

As you can see, G R O W shows up every day in almost everything that we do. From how we work together, to the fun that we have, to the way we service guests and show up in our community - we choose to lead with a growth mindset.
