Get to know: Nicole Urlacher
Nicole is celebrating FIVE years at Glance this year. We love having this considerate and loyal dog lover be a part of our team! Today we celebrate Nicole and her journey in the beauty industry to get her to where she is today; and maybe we will just learn a new thing or two about this compassionate and beautiful Glance Team member!
Nicole grew up in Dickinson North Dakota and moved to Bismarck in 2011. Nicole is really close to both of her parents and has a lot of fun memories growing up with her dad by her side thru everything and mom who raised her to be the woman that she is today. She has an awesome and protective older brother and an older sister that she loves to be able to talk to about anything. Nicole is also an aunt to three rambunctious nephews and loves being a part of their lives!
Nicole is next up at Glance to get married! Ryan and Nicole have been together for 7 years, they are newly engaged and currently in the middle of planning a wedding. They love to spend time outdoors, on the river, and recently they became dog parents to the cutest little furry friend!

“My mom because she’s my best friend. Most days we drive each other crazy, but without her I don’t know what I would do. She’s been supportive, outgoing, and someone who I will take a million vacations with.”

Nicole, you wanted to be a dentist growing up; how did you get into the beauty industry?!
“My whole life I have always loved helping people or making them feel good. Also loved having my own hair done or polishing my own nails/fingers, I loved being creative in that way. Before I worked in the salon, I worked with children and loved it. But working in the salon was what I was meant to do. I learn new things everyday about myself and my career and get to meet and have the best conversations with new and returning guests everyday. That’s pretty special!”
Nicole, you are so right! The salon is where you belong! You are a natural and we are so fortunate to have you as a part of our team!
Nicole provides all hair services at Glance and is SUPER passionate about nail care! She loves working at Glance because she has a whole team of kick ass women behind her to help her through anything that life throws at her and always encourages her to try new things and step outside her comfort zone! “We all want what is best for each other and always push each other to the next level.”
